Baby Contest with options for Prints!

It feels like, lately, all my thoughts are focused on the baby contest and how to make it better for you and your baby.
One question I had was, how can I help them capture this fun memory?  And, what about Grandma and Grandpa?
They're going to want some pictures too.  So, I've come up with an 8x10 scrapbook page and options to buy additional prints.
You will receive your free 4x6 complimentary photo in the mail.  And now, if you want or need more prints, you can!

I will have order forms when you sign in to get your baby's picture taken but if you'd like to fill one out in
advance and bring your cash or check with you, that's great too!  Click here to view and print the order form.

I can't wait to meet you all at the baby contest!  See you on Thursday!

Mother's Day Special

The purple flowers are out!  Every year in Eagle Mountain the fields are filled with these purple flowers.  I look forward to seeing them every year.
Right now, I'm offering a 30 minute mini session, for your children, for $50 while these flowers are blooming.  We can go shoot in the fields or in my home studio, the choice is yours.  But book it before mother's day 'cause this offer will be gone on May 13th.  Happy Mother's Day!

Munchkins

I got a new lens and wanted to try it out on my munchkins.  Wow!  I love it!  I feel like I have lots more control over my camera's settings.

Also I finally figured out that my fence makes a GREAT reflector.  Tons of yummy light bouncing onto my lovely, super cute subject, Miss J.

Sophia

This 24 month old just had her birthday and she was busy, busy.  She taught me a lot too.
It's funny how kids so young can teach us things.  But she did, and I love her for it.
Thanks for bringing her by the studio Sarah.  I loved seeing you and spending time with you before you disappear for a while.  ;)

Joseph J - Senior

This guy made me a Aunt 17 years ago, and now, he's a SENIOR!!! He's in choir, loves drama and video games. Below you'll see some of his many faces that kept me rolling with laughter.

We did this session in my home studio. My sister Sharlyn wanted to do it indoors since J.J. is more of an indoor guy. If you'd like me to take your senior, or soon to be senior on location we can do that too. Just contact me (you can find my contact info by clicking on the "Contact" tab above) and we'll get it on the calendar. :)

Extended Family Shoot...My Cousins!

When I was growing up, every year for Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving, 4th of July, Labor Day bar-b-ques, cherry picking, and other fun stuff, my family would drive 1 hour and 10 minutes (about 30 miles, wink, wink. ;)) to hang out with my Aunts, cousins, Grandma and Pappy. I loved it! We always had the best time. Now that we're older it doesn't happen as often and life just seems to go on. I was thrilled to death when I was asked to take pictures of my Aunt, cousins, and now second cousins!!  A great excuse to see everybody!
We weren't sure the weather was going to cooperate and although it was very cold, the wind was mostly on and sometimes off, and the sun was in and out we went ahead with the plans.  A special thanks to my Auntie M for letting us get warm in her house and use her backyard.

Stephanie found a picture she fell in love with and wanted to recreate it with her family.  I was totally up for the task, and here are the results.

My cousin Jacob.
My cousin Charlie.

Stephanie wanted to get my Grandma in on a few and I decided I wanted one for myself, all by herself.  She's  85 and super fun to talk to.
Thanks for asking me to photograph you all.  It was fun to visit and I had a great time!
